Edwin is currently a top C-level executive at ABN AMRO. In his role of Chief Innovation Officer and as chairman of ABN AMRO Ventures (a EUR 150 million investment fund), he is responsible for the bank’s drive to secure and grow its industry leadership through new innovative products and services, investments in the world’s leading start-ups and building state-of-the-art solutions and platforms enabled by Artificial Intelligence, Distributed Ledger and cloud.
As a Partner at McKinsey Edwin was one of the founding leadership team members of Digital McKinsey, now one of their largest service lines. He moved to New York as CEO of Amelia, an exciting start-up which became the global leader in conversational AI intermediates.
